300歳の誕生日あらすじ
"おばあちゃんが人魚?完全に夢だ"
"Grandma's a mermaid? This must be a nightmare!"

Kazami, a single woman in late 30s (around-fortyアラフォー), returns to Japan after
working abroad for years. Despite her successful career, she carries emotional baggage from the unresolved tension between her mother Tae and grandmother Misono. When Misono becomes critically ill, Kazami rushes to her bedside—only for old wounds between mother and daughter to flare up once again, leaving Kazami emotionally adrift. In the midst of this turmoil, she is suddenly pulled into the “Sea Kingdom,” awakening in a fantastical world governed by mermaids.
In the Sea Kingdom, a fierce succession struggle is underway as Amanotoria approaches his 300th birthday. Wave-weaving maidens, deep-sea creatures, and rival factions all move with their own intentions. As Kazami navigates this unfamiliar realm, she realizes that her grandmother Misono was in fact Millisol, the legendary mermaid, and her mother Tae is far more deeply connected to the Sea Kingdom than she ever imagined.Between the human world and the underwater realm, the story of three generations—marked by estrangement, love, and the weight of inheritance—intertwines. Kazami is forced to confront not only her family's past but also the path she must choose for herself...

We provide a unique platform to create new musicals by bringing together Japan and Hong Kong based theatre artists. The first project by Director Aki Sakaguchi and Producing writer Momoko Ogata through the platform was "Hong Kong Sketches the Musical I 音樂劇《香港速寫》I 音楽劇・香港スケッチ". The project began in late 2019 and brought together over 50 theatre artists in Hong Kong and Japan. The musical was developed remotely under COVID19, and premiered at a well known Za Koenji Public Theatre in Tokyo in July 2022. This unique multi-language musical presented songs and dialogues in Japanese, Cantonese and English. The story was told through the voices of three young characters born and raised in Hong Kong. Please look out for announcements regarding our next theatre project "300th Birthday" at Za Koenji 1, on January 22-25, 2026 and more (e.g. a workshop by Sunfool Lau and a music live).
